Colour Streams are thrilled to be welcoming Wendy Williams for our next retreat.
Wendy has been working in the quilting industry as a designer and teacher for over 15 years. In 2014 her first book was published with C&T in the U.S. titled ‘Wild Blooms and Colorful Creatures’. Having a degree in adult education has led her to teaching all over Australia and internationally.
A variety of techniques are incorporated into the quilts and patterns she designs including wool applique. Her wool applique is usually done with pure wool felt using bold but simple embroidery stitches. Wendy's aim is that her work is achievable for all levels of quilters and stitchers.
