An embroiderer of many years, Robyn Alexander appreciates the style and flair that unusual threads can add to your work. As the creator of Colour Streams Robyn delights in supplying an extensive range of colours - 50 variegated or overdyed colours in 4 thicknesses of silk embroidery thread and 3 widths of silk embroidery ribbons - to give that special something to your designs.

These colours are repeated in our rich hand dyed fabric supply of velvet, Habatai silk, crinkle silk chiffon, silk organza and pure wool felt. Fabrics for layering, applique , dimensional embroidery and of course crazy patchwork - there are colours and fabrics suited to almost any design and the only limit is your imagination.

Our range in thickness of hand-dyed silk threads give great opportunity to create incredible texture. Couple this with our range of hand-dyed fabrics, silk embroidery ribbon and the amazing range of embellishments, specialty threads, wool felting supplies and sequins to dye for, and you have the best range of embroidery supplies and textile art supplies.

Because creating your own designs can sometimes be a daunting task we have developed a range of patterns and kits that are well suited to any skill level. We have a diverse range of hand embroidery designs. A great place to start is with one of the pretty Blossom Tassels. This is a design showing you the way a variety of fabrics & embellishments create rich texture to make a fun & pretty tassel. Our beautiful new soon to be released Printemps Collection uses a diverse range of needle felting techniques and much more. Our "Heart Felt Chatelaine" a needle case featuring hand dyed velvet pansies, lace, braids and rich beads & spangles. Such a heart journey when you add those family photos, a real treasure.
