Happy New Year!! I hope it is a healthy, happy and very creative year for you all. WE are off to a flying start preparing for my teaching
tour of the north island of New Zealand. It will be exciting meeting so many new people and having that great exchange of ideas we

I am working on some new designs (lots of bags 'cause we love them') felting all sorts of fabrics and embroidering before the felting
process. Great impressionistic results. It so excites me playing with the texture and the way it distorts and becomes so painterly.
I can't keep my hands out of a bit of gold paint either in another project combining velvet, felting and some traditional embroidery
a little like an illuminated manuscript type thingy. These projects will be taught at Koala Conventions 2011 if you like them. Pictures
will be available when I finish them. I just have to give up sleeping.
